This section of the site contains samples of the three maps created by means of MapEDIT PRO software.
The maps differ in complexity.
Each sample contains a piece of a source map raster image and the resulting map in MapEDIT 4.x and in MapInfo 4.x formats.
Descriptions provided with the samples include:
- the source paper map and its scanned image parameters
- the resulting digital vector map quantitative parameters (number of layers, objects, nodes)
- estimated time needed for resulting digital vector map creation
- input data density (number of nodes per square cm/inch of the source paper map).
